I had to do this, I cannot see the ends of the forks and have wrecked pallets.
I wanted to maintain as much of the safety aspects as possible.
I did not want to jumper out the seat and I did not want a toggle switch on the dash. I already have a diverter vale with push buttons on the joy stick so I just added another NO push button to the handle. Allows me to keep my hand on the joystick to move the forks while depressing the PB so I can stand up. The buzzer still works till I sit down. If I let go of the button while standing the 2 sec delay kicks in and the engine stops.
I ran the wires to the bottom of the seat , easiest place to find and attach the wires from the switch, I jumped pins 2 and 4 per the schematic and all that happened was the buzzer stopped. moved the wires to 1 and 3 pins and it worked perfect, Schematic has the pin no wrong. Unless I am a complete idiot. That can happen. Anyway I attached the schematic page in case anyone is interested. For some reason I had to zip it so you have to download it and open it to see it, I think,
