Hello all,
I just joined the forum last weekend - found it as I was doing some research on Kioti vs Kubota tractors.
I have around 30 acres here in Hawaii where under the right conditions, the "guinea" grass grows about 1.5 inches a day and will get over 6 foot tall if not kept in check. My Cub Cadet GT1554 (which was really never made to take such a beating) has been (sort of) doing the job, but is now breaking down much too regularly as I expand my mowing horizons and so it's time to move up to something substantially more capable.
Aside from Grass/Brush cutting, I am also looking to get some farming and landscaping activities started for which a larger machine would really come in handy. I am currently considering a Kioti LK30 or CK30 outfitted with backhoe, loader, and brush cutter.
If anyone is planning to vacation in Hawaii this summer and looking for accommodations just let me know via private message and I'd be happy to make you a great deal on my Pepe'ekeo Vaction Rental Home.
