In a previous post I described problems I was having with the battery charging system on my Kubota B1200.
The first fault proved to be the charging relay. I got a replacement under warranty from the dealer then, after about 10 more hours running the charging light came on again. This time it was the rectifier that had failed. Again, replaced with a new one from the dealer. Another 6 hours running and on comes the charging light again.
By this time I've had enough. I am past caring what the fault is, (although I know its not the permanent magnet alternator which is pushing out about 20v ac) I have bought a new Denso anternator on ebay which has a built-in rectifier and fitted it, (see pics).
Hopefully this will now be the end of my problems with this!
