Alternator Replacement Kit for the Dynamo on a Kubota B7800

I was wondering if there is a direct replacement "alternator" kit to replace the factory dynamo that is standard on the Kubota B7800? Also, I see an after-market alternator that is available on eBay eBay: NEW ALTERNATOR FOR KUBOTA TRACTOR EXCAVATOR & MORE NEW (item 330107789551 end time Apr-16-07 11:14:35 PDT), however, the unit has a built in voltage regulators and I was curious on the wiring of such since the dynamo does not have a built in voltage regulator.

Have you asked you Kubota parts person if they have one....I put the Kubota Alt kit on my B3030 several months ago...cost approx $200 (includes everything you need.)

YUP! Did mine just a few weeks ago when it was WARM!!!

There's the problem! With the "kit" ya get everything you need...alt bracket..alternator...new fan belt...wiring harness...etc. Other wise you'd have to scab together stuff..assuming you have a full electrical schemtic to start with.

Thanks for the direction, I will have to contact Woodbury Tractor, Woodbury Tractor Company, LLC to get get a quote, I didn't realize Kubota had a kit. The beauty of TBN, information at your finger tips.

I do have the full factory manual if a pdf of the wiring schematic is needed anyone?
