I've got a white enclosed trailer for my seamless gutter business. Is there any good products to get dark streaks off of the white finish?
They're mostly from water that runs down below the roof mounted ladder racks down the sides and down either side of the rear ramp door.
Regular car washing soap and a brush doesn't seem to make a dent.

Try some TSP (trisodium phosphate)

Go to any WalMart or RV dealer and in the Camp/RV section there is a product called "Black Streak Remover". Use it all the time on the boats.

If its not bad 409 will work so/so.

Found it on WalMart's website, but unfortunately my local store nor any other within 50 miles stocks it.
Will have to check out some other products available online or make a trip to a local RV dealer.

Not sure if it will work or not but we have good results on fiberglass with Purple Power and also dollar store stuff called Awesome. Use it full strength out of a spray bottle and scrub it off with a sponge.

I've had good luck with Purple Power on other things but not so much with black streaks on aluminum.
I've gone ahead and ordered another product called AlumKlean. We'll give it a shot and report back when it arrives.

Magic Eraser pads, used along with Totally Awesome dollar store cleaner is the best thing I have found for black streaks. No scrubbing, just spray the totally awesome, then wipe of with magic eraser pads. Rinse with waters, and the trailer is clean.

I never would have figured this out on my own... I had hauled my LQ trailer to the Blue Beacon truck wash, and the mgr told me that's what they use to get the black streaks off of their white, wash bay walls.

A product called "Zing" used mostly on boats.

They make 2 types that I know of. One for aluminum and another for painted things. I had a painted aluminum bass boat. After hand washing with soap and water it still had a water ring. Zing took it off. I tried everything on the shelf to clean the stainless steel prop, nothing worked except Zing.

Water stains and calcium build-up literally wipe away! NO scrubbing! My prop looked like knew in less than a minute.

One caution, wear rubber gloves in a well ventilated area.

I find that using 409 or greased lighting does remove black streaks, but it seems to make it lose its luster in a year and streaks comes back in same spot. I find that nu finish to clean it seems to make it last longer.
