Aluminum siding "corners"

I've been having no luck whatsoever locating replacement aluminum siding corners for my home. I've called all the siding companies in the area and most of them don't care to help and the ones that are helpful don't know where to get them. Checked with Sears and with all the local hardware and building supply stores. One place was able to find galvanized corners but they were too short to work. Enclosed are some photos. I though about making some out of sheets of aluminum but I have too many others projects going on right now and would like to find a source if possible. Maybe someone out there has a connection. Thanks.

Thanks...but I already tried those. I ordered a bunch and they were too small. Thankfully, the store (Frontier Lumber) took them back. I just found an old E-bay listing (here) that was selling exactly what I need...I e-mailed the guy to see if he still has more or can get more. I'm hoping he can help. I guess these aren't made anymore so they are hard to come by. I need about 20 which why I don't want to make them...if it was only one or two I would make them myself.

I bend 'em up myself, my local hardware sells short rolls of brown one side white other side aluminum stock. I have sheet metal tools so I can buzz them out faster but a pair of heavy shears and a vice with sharp cornered jaws and you should be able to crank all 20 out in less than an hour. A pair of hand seamer's will make it even faster than a vise. Most aluminum siding guys I've seen bend their own also.

I just clicked on your ebay link and he has 8" corners listed, $1.68 ea.

You can make your own rather easily but your lumber yards should be able to buy these still. We have not needed any in a few years but the last time we did the local lumber yard had them right on hand. Do you have any old time hardware stores around you? If so check with them as they might have some also.

Was reading your post this morning before going to my pt job at a lumber yard. We have aluminum siding corners. There is not a big demand for this product so they were moved to a back room out of sight.
So try so old lumber companys and ask if they have old stock.
Our white corners are .99 cents to give you some idea

You can still get them Barton's in AR/MO area has them. They are part of the
"Do it Best" conglaumo.
