- Kubota L3710 HST and a Kubota ZD21 60Pro
I am seriously considering a ZD326 mower. I just had a 18hp Briggs Vanguard blow up at 800hrs on a Woods mowing machine. Got a buddy with a blown Koler on a 700hr machine. This is why I am looking at diesel and think the transmission on a ZD might be a bit tougher than the other main brands of Z row mowers. Do any of yall have experience with the durability of a ZD326???? Now to the dealer question. I was at a kubota dealer other day and I was trying to ask about a ZD326 he had there in showroom. I ask if I could drive it, He said NO, it was new and unless I bought it I, I could not try it. WOW. haha now i was ticked and ask another question, IF I bought it and took it home and it stopped next day what about the warranty and service. He said HIS service started at his door! I as to clarify if I was understanding right and yes I was. It would be MY responsibility to get it to his door, then he would precede with warranty work. WOW
Are all kubota dealers like this one???????
If the ZD326 is as good as my ZD21, you'll be a happy camper. I've had my ZD for 5 year, 300+ hours and no issues.
And no, not all dealers are like yours. My guy knew I was serious, he even offered to loan me the machine for the weekend. He also said he'd take it back if I wasn't happy. I bought it on a Sat and the machine was in my yard before I got home, (no charge). Needless to say, Sharon Springs Kubota gets my referrals.
