Here is a video of the kind of chipper shown in reply post #4.....
It appears it make a course type of landscape style mulch/chip product...
I have seen both wood heaters and outside boilers that use a fuel product
like this that is augured to the fire box from about a 2 cubic yard hopper...

Looks like a good system, if you have the need for that size unit...

I ran into these things a couple of years back when I was wondering about making a chipper: I'm pretty sure that they're cutting the wood for "Wood Gas" or "Bio Gassification". The idea is to pack a load of wood into an airtight burner - where it burns in a low-oxygen environment and produces flammable gas. You can even run cars on it.
