Dad has ordered a new tractor to supplement his underutilized machinery collection. I am also considering some equipment for my place.

I am trying to see if the Ameriquip 80a 3-point backhoe he got years back for his Kubota L2550dt will work for the new Yanmar.
I found this;
https://www.amerequip.com/assets/documents/80A-backhoe-sn2338-through-sn2523.pdf
but it doesn't talk about flow and pressure ratings or discuss the valve model or even brand.

Anyone by any chance know what is in there? or have any additional knowledge of the backhoe?
The new tractor looks to have about 1/3 more flow than the old, and pressure rating up a couple hundred PSI. I would think it would probably be safe, but could also cause problems if I am wrong.

Anyone try hooking something like this to a rear remote instead of a power beyond? That could keep the attachment from getting over flowed when driving around if it isn't rated for it I would think.
I am hoping to not disassemble the hoe to try to figure out what the valve is, but that might be the only option if I want to use it on another machine and even that isn't a sure thing.

Page 38 - pressure- 1950 psi
Volume- 4-5 gpm

I have a Backhoe Attachment on a 3510 Branson and I run tractor rpm's at 1200- 1500 and it works great.

I missed that, but those look to be minimums, not maximums.

just got word from the oem; 8gpm and 2500psi are the limits.
Looks like I'd have to set an rpm limit, or something else to attach it to the Yanmar YT359

I just started with a fast idle and then increased until my controls worked good.
As I stated, I am running 12-1500 rpm.
I can't imagine if I ran at pto speed (2400). The hoe would probably jump off of the tractor!!

I have an 80A on my JD855 but it is driven by the PTO not the tractor hydraulics. It came with the tractor when I bought it. Almost impossible to find parts for it. Blew a swing cylinder on it and had to order the rebuild kit from JD as Ameriquip also built them for JD. Not many parts available.

but as you drive around with the loader, the valve for the hoe will see full rated flow, since that much oil is going through the whole system whenever you hit peak rpms, weather or not you are using the hoe at the time, it still sees it.

I've just been going to a local cylinder shop to get them rebuilt/remade.
the "elbow" cylinder has been taken out twice by backing up into something with the loader on the tractor (hyper expends the cylinder, need to add a stop now that I have a welder) and the swing cylinders were leaking pretty good on their own from wear and tear.

The hoe and FEL are in a hydraulic "Loop".
The fluid flows through them and it is only interrupted when you open a valve.
Low rpm will give you low fluid volume making controls operate slower.

yes. The point is; if the valve can only handle 8 gpm, putting 10 gpm through it could cause problems whether not it is going to one of the cylinders.
You would have to make sure you never see more than 80% of rated engine rpm while driving.
