Amish farm in Kentucky

Here are some pics we snapped while visiting my sister-in-laws relatives in Kentucky. We heard there were Amish folks in this part of the area, so they took us for a drive out in the country. Beautiful, peaceful, simple. You will have to hit the rotate button to get pictures landscape position for easy viewing, sorry, enjoy.

They work for me. Do you have dial-up, or a slow connection, that may be the problem. This is the only way I can post pictures, I have to scan them and send them to my computer, then they open as a pdf. document. I have tried to post them to photobucket, but they don't accept this format. Sorry, is anyone else having trouble?

nope cant see them program opens then a box opens up and says fille dosnt not begin with "%pdf"

I notice that photos in pdf format take longer to appear on my screen. It seems like the Adobe Reader needs to access the internet to view the file since I get a window pop-up that asks if I should allow or deny access. Photos with .jpg format can be read from various programs and come up quicker. At least they do on my screen. I am using Adobe 7.0 and had no problem viewing the photos.

Are you using a digital camera? I am sure we could help you if you told us more details on how you are getting your pics digita.

fyi -they came up jsut fine for me as a .pdf and i was able to rotate them. I'm on dsl and so they came up pretty fast, no problem.

No, Rox, I'm still in the 35mm camera dark(room) ages. These are photographs that I scan with a copy machine, then the copier forwards the image to my computer. It saves them in my documents (hence the pdf. adobe acrobat format). Then when I go to manage attatchments at TBN, I hit the browse button, select my "document", and post. This is the only option I have at the moment. Sorry.

Glad to hear it, I was hoping I wasn't wasting my time. One neat thing about it, you can click on the magnifying glass after picture opens, and you can zoom in. Also you get 2 or 3 pics per post, you just have to scroll down when it opens. I didn't know if everyone was aware or not, like the no jumping pic post, if you just open it up, it looks like one pic, but you scroll down and can see the other pic from a different angle (from the creek looking up to the bridge).
