Took on a project.
With a couple hundred feed of stone driveway to rid of weeds two or three times each year, I was getting tired of the seven or eight trips it took with the two gallons hand-pump srayer. So, last year, I picked up a 15 gallon electrip sprayer made for ATVs...but I have no ATV. With the winter to think about it, and a local machine shop that lets me rummage through his pile of leftover steel, I set about to build a 3 point-mounted rack. For a guy who doesn't weld enough to say so, and deals with essential tremmors to boot, it didn't come out too bad. A couple pretty ratty welds; a couple mis-mounted pieces...but it went together pretty well. I should have staged the pictures better; but oh, well.

Looks good to me. I have had a 15 gal Star sprayer from Northern Equipment for many many years. I carry it in the cargo bed (box) on the golf cart.
Last yr I bought a bigger 26 gal tank and plan to build a similar 3pt hitch rack for the Kubota like you have done. So far no other progress - I am planning to build a 3pt receiver hitch. Then just make a tank carrier that is hitch compatible. This way I could make other hitch compatible things to use with the hitch.

That 15 gallon tank has the indentations on the sides for a reason. Many smaller 3 point lift arms slide/snap into those indentations tightly. Adding a strap or bungee can hold them tightly in place. I know I can snap a small tank like that into place on my little Deere while it wouldn't work on heavier lift arms. Never tried it on a Kubota.

Very nice! Mounting the tank to the tractor is much more user-friendly than having wheels ono the tank to tow it. After jack knifing my tow behind spray tank and cracking the plastic tank, I built a sprayer using your approach.

BTW - old guys have the gift of years of experience

That’s very nice. For my 20 gallon sprayer, I use a 3ph carryall and mount a pallet on it for the sprayer and battery.

Here's an update on my project:
After finally getting a bit of weather in which I could do my spraying, I hooked the unit on the tractor, put some water in the tank and fired it up--NOTHING. Well, the pump motor ran, but nothing came out. I double checked the polarity on my connections just to be safe--not a problem there. To make a long story much shorter, I figured it was a problem in the valve that actually allowed the pump to connect to the motor. I took off the end cap and attempted to disassemble the motor/pump connection without being able to do so. HOWEVER, I found that there is a screw unter the end cap that seems to put pressure on the controlling component of the valve. It appears to have been stuck in a closed position. I reassembled the mess and tried again...I got a trickle, but no pressure. I put a bit of air pressure on the supply sid of the pump and "something" opened up. After reconnecting the hose, it worked fine, though I suspect I'm putting out a bit more pressure than it was originally inteded for--It's OK, I'll keep it!
