I know there are a lot of barn builds on here already. I did not want to hijack one of them with too many of my own pics. I have posted a few of them in some threads already. I figured I would start one myself. I looked at a lot of buildings to get ideas, on here and in person. I built this in my head for about 3 years before starting. I just wanted to post these for yall to see and maybe get an idea for yours. Feel free to ask any questions, I will try to answer them.:D
We built this back in the spring and still have a couple things to finish up. The structure is all galvanized tubing. I had a crew put up the outside poles, trusses, and the rest of the roof. The total dimensions are 30'x48'. I have 3 12'x12' stalls, a 12'x14' tack room with 8' ceiling, a loft on top of that, and 12'x16 area for hay storage, there is also a 18'x36' open area in front of the stalls. I had another crew finish the concrete. Everything else was done with the help of a few family members.

You have a well designed building. Congratulations. By the way, I see that you found out how to change the spelling in a thread. I am sure that you will have many years of enjoyment using your new barn. Good job.

I did not figure out how to change the spelling. While messing with it I created a new one. OOPS.

I wish that I could tell you how, but I don't know. I was going to ask you. Don't worry about the spelling error. I see a few of them on TBN from time to time. Perhaps some other member will jump in and post the answer, and we both will know the proper way. I really like the lay out and construction of your barn. Have a good day.

When I built my barn close to ten years ago I went all out. It had to be built on a hill so I couldn't go with the standard pole barn but I had to get a stick built with about a 16' foundation. Dropped close to 100k in my 40' x 40' barn. I thought I was crazy until my neighbor through his up. He built a 60 x 80 with 16' ceilings. Has its own heat plumbing bathroom. Even had its own directv. Put the nice marble looking floors in. 7 garage doors. Had an intercom from the barn to the house so the wife could contact him when he was out tinkering late. Makes me jealous. Don't even want to think about the price he paid.
