Chris, I recall quite a few posts back you were telling us about your annual fuel bill with your truck , the Beemer, your boat, etc. Seems a little strange you made no mention of this additional 101,000 gallons in that post....:laughing:
Not my money... I fly a corporate jet for a company. It burns 1800# of fuel the first hour, or 270 gallons per hour and 1400# of fuel per hour every hour after, or about 210 gallons per hour. Our average flight this year was 1:14 minutes as of right now. May change slightly if we have a flight between now and New Years Eve, nothing scheduled though.
We outsourced out expense reports a year ago or so. I had to argue with them the first 2 months because I turn in a report every Wednesday and its nothing for me to have nearly $30,000 in expense between fuel, catering, rental cars, hotels, meals, ect per week. It drew all kinds of red flags on their system. This is only half of it, my co-pilot pays for every other fueling and all his expenses.
