Clementine got her annual wax job today in bright sunshine and warm temps. The wife thinks I'm crazy for doing taking parts off, cleaning and waxing them on the patio, then bolting them back into place and starting all over with another part.

Then the oil and filter change, the fuel filter change, checking the torque on all the fasteners, grease all the zirk fittings. Gawd the old girl's gorgeous with all the shiny orange glistening in the sunlight!

Tomorrow, we get dirty again!

Pete,

I thought Clementine was off for an operation? Something about getting an attachment to ease your back? I understand, you want to send her off clean & shiny & return the same.

It was a great day in the NE USA, good for tractor buffin, though I was fence fixin..

She goes in on Monday and comes home Friday...just in time for an entire weekend of backhoe practice!

Just tell her you're maintaining the resale or trade in value...which, of course, you are!

I thought getting dirt on them voids the warranty - at least that's what my dealer told me ....

thomas: lucky u if u are going to have another nice day, here in western ny we are supposed to have showers and possible thunder storms in the forcast for the next 4 days, ground never gets a chance to dry out good before it rains again./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

PETE; i hate to inform u but i must report u to the tractor police for abuse to ur tractor./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif only one wax job a year seems like abuse to me. some may think us crazy but i enjoy washing and waxing my b2400, nice way to spend a nice spring, summer evening, only seems fair with the amt. of dirt and mud i can get on her./w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif.

No, no, no! She gets waxed several times a year, but only once a year on the inside of the panels! Sheesh, I love the old girl!
