From what I understand the one and only school security guard there on duty was not armed. However it was reported that the students were leagally permitted to conceal carry if they had a permit to do so. Yes, it's NOT the guns fault and there are a lot of sick people out there. Things happen fast. If any things to blame it's the society we live in today.
