Another dumb question

I have a 1641 Hydro with low hours. Would this be something strong enough to pull dethathers or plow with? I was alway afraid to pull a full cart with my old Craftsman..

Unless I'm looking in the wrong spot all the ones in the photos seem to be made by IH and mine is not. I was concerned that the ones with Hyrdro are more for cutting and the shifter models are for plowing... What is creeper gear?

Could it be, That your cub cadet had been sold by MTD dealers?

I have seen a cub cadet in a MTD brochure, I have got on a garden equipment exhibition here in Germany a lot of years ago. We donｴt have the IH cub cadet for sale her. But as I have known, that the cc was US made by IH, I was wondering, to find it for sale by MTD.

Go to the Cub site linked above and click on "Illustrated Parts Look-up Tool". Then enter "1641" in the "Model Name/Number" search box in the upper left of the screen. Then select which serial number range your tractor falls within, then on the right side of the screen click on "Illustrated Parts List", then "Attachments" to see what was available for your tractor.

The fact that there was a 54" blade and 3-point hitch means your tractor is a beast. I wouldn't worry about plowing snow. You'll lose traction LONG before you even begin to stress it.
