Good morning. I am seeking some advice and information from the TBN crew for this upgrade. I have spent the last week or so viewing the multitude of postings concerning the installation of an alternator in place of factory dyno. It seems one of the most common is on the "b" series Kubota. I am working on a Kioti LB1914 that has aux lights and warning lights for night work and for the most part has the same components as the kubota. I am installing a Hitachi 14231 alternator on my Kioti. I have the WSM for my tractor but the wiring diagram leaves a lot to be desired. I noticed that Kubota had a upgrade kit that included the new wiring harness and an additional relay. The Kioti uses the same external voltage regulator for the dyno conversion to DC voltage. Can anyone provide me the information on how this new harness is wired to by-pass the old external regulator and maintain feed to the glow plug timer and relay. Based on the information I have found on TBN, the six wires on the old regulator are reduced to only using two (which two is the question). The second part to this is, what is the new relay feeding voltage to and where is it wired to? Thanks in advance for the help.
