Hello,
I have been looking for new front tires for my B7300. The odd thing is that I have the 31x15.5-15 (AgTurf) on the rear, but 22x8.50-12 (turf) on the front. The manual does not show this front tire size as an option, but I am the 3rd owner, so who knows what happened along the way. Now, according to the math, the current size puts the front at a 3% lead, which is nicely acceptable. Unfortunately, from my searches, that size is incredibly hard to impossible to get. The next available size is a 23x8.50-12, but it comes in at 9% which is outside the max Kubota recommends of 5%. Interestingly, in an Ag tire, Kubota shows a 6-12 up front and a 8.3-16 out back. Providing my math holds up, this combo already puts the lead at 8%, 3% out of spec right out of the box. Granted, I pulled the RC numbers from tire manufacturers' websites, but the long and short of it is: If Kubota blew their own recommended spec right from the factory, is another 1% going to hurt it?
