Another hello from MS.

Since Tractorbynet.com threads were the main thing popping up when I'd google my latest tractor question, I figured I'd join so I can ask my own questions.
A little about me:
My professional background is Military and Law Enforcement.
I have an odd sense of humor and a tendency to be offensive, so sorry in advance.
I have two tours in Iraq (OIF, not Desert Storm but I did watch ODS on CNN).
I live in Copiah County Mississippi, with the wife and children on about 20 acres and I'm eyeballing 40 more that border us to the south, so I'm now in the tractor market.
I'm not a farmer and have never owned a tractor but I'm getting tired of throwing money at the rental people so the search is on for something in the 30 to 40hp range. It's not going to get daily use but it will get occasional abuse.
I've narrowed my brands down to Mahindra, Kioti, or (at a distant 3rd and 4th) Branson and LS.
I'm pretty much just here to learn, leark, and occasionally ask a question.

To the TBN forum. Glad you joined us here. You can get just about any question answered here. I will tell you right now that you are mistaken! You are going to be vey surprised at how much more you are going to work that tractor than you think you will. It just seems like the more you can do, then the more you will do.
