And wished I did it earlier. With all the ground works I'm been doing lately this teeth in the bucket really is a no brainer... I went with the bolt on one's instead of the bar cuz it was cheaper ;). Put 8 teeth on a 68" bucket for under a hundred bucks.

What was part number of the tooth kit you used? Did you have to drill extra hole in bucket to for them or does your bucket have the 2 hole pattern for the teeth?

VERY NICE:thumbsup:

I too was too cheap for a tooth bar and did the same thing.

But I also have to ask what teeth you used.

The ones I got ONLY bolted onto the top side of the bucket. Where as some of the teeth (more expensive) sandwitched the cutting edge.

Here is a link to my thread. It has some close ups of the teeth I used. Are yours the Same?? And did you have any issues drilling/tapping the cutting edge?

Thats not too bad of a price if the bolts/nuts were included:thumbsup:

I think I gave ~$78 delivered for my 8 teeth but that was no hardware.

I bought the individual teeth with mine also and they really help with digging but I removed them last year when I was spreading rock and never put them back on. I have a Woods BH-80X that I use to dig with now. One of these days I will probably put them back on.

I think with the teeth and hardware, mine was $90.

Part # PS1686B for $7.59 each from AGIndustrial.com. I have to drill the back holes. Only have the front holes available orginally from the bucket. Bought some 1/2" grade 8 bolts (10pcs. 1.5" and 6pcs. 1"). and lock nuts for around/less than $10 bucks. Did not take long to install with power tools... Hope this helps with everyone's questions...
There are other choices in the site too but for the price of it I think this can't be beat .

I think that is the same one's... only I did not have problem drilling... (well I used a garden hose partially open next to the hole I am drilling ;)).

I dont know how much of that you read, but I had NO problems at all drilling the cutting edge.

Only problems was drilling where the edge was welded. Must have gotten MUCH harder there:confused2:
