I own two kubotas, a B7800, and a BX2660. These are great machines, and I would highly recommend either one. My father in law was looking for a small tractor. Despite my BX recommendation, he bought a Massey GC 1705. He plans on using it for mowing, running a chipper, and running a pto driven generator. With the Kubota, I can flip the seat forward to operate the rear pto without the seat switch cutting the engine. I was looking at the Massey, and can't figure out how we can do this. I know the short answer is to bypass the seat safety switch. My son will be mowing with the Massey for his grandpa, and I'd rather not do that. I can't believe Massey wouldn't have some type of bypass. Nothing in the owners manual either. Does anyone have any ideas?
