Another new 2520 arrives

I finally have my complete 2520. The sun came out yesterday and it was time for some pictures! The tractor was delivered in November, but the 200cx was backordered until January and it has finally arrived and was installed last week. The dealer I bought it from has been upfront with everything and gave me a great deal on the package compared to the other dealers in the area.

First I would like to thank everyone here for the posts and opinions on the 2210/2305/411X/25x0 tractors. It helped me make my decision to move up from the 2305. I had a 345 that was used on my 2.25 acres and it ran great, but I have just added a 8+ acre lot down the road and needed a larger machine. The main tasks was the 800' gravel drive, mowing both lots, bush hog the areas around the woods, and snow removal on the drive.

The package I have is 2520 w/r4's, 62D MMM (Independent lift), LX5 Bush Hog, 72" Frontier Rear Blade, 200CX w/61" bucket, ballast box, quick hitch, and rear work light.

I have used the LX5 for about 3 hours in early December when it was "warm". The rear blade worked great on the snow also. Now with the 200cx I can't wait for the snow to fall again! The 62D is even easier to remove than my deck was on my 345. Simply pull the pins, pull the pto and drive over!

It looks almost exactly like the 3x20 line. It seems the ROPS that cants forward is the quickest way to tell the difference in the pics.
I wonder why they did that?

How hard is it to adjust the blade? And what adjustments do you have?

To answer jeepinator -

The Blade is easy to adjust. Just pop the pin and move the blade. The blade adjust 0, 15 and 30 degrees forward and 0 or 15 in reverse. The blade also tilts in 3 positions , but I have not used that.

To answer L_Nicholson -

The cost was on the package deal was just over $19k before tax. I figured the discount from list was around 18.3%. From what others have said in this forum that anything more that 15% is a good deal, I jumped on it. Other dealers were in the 21.5k range.

To answer lincolnvt -

I have only had the loader on the tractor for a few days and it has rained the past week and have not got to move anything yet, other that some stone in the driveway. I can't wait to finally use it and find out how handles a bucket full of dirt or stone. Also I want to see how the machine feels with just the ballast box full and no loaded tires. The manual says that I need the box full and loaded tires or box full and 3 wheel weights per rear wheel!
