Just purchased a new L3000Dt. I lurked in the shadows here for a very long time, before asking about this model. Many people answered my question, and I would like to thank everyone. Especially Harv, William (William was so helpful, I thanked him first.) Thomas and the many others. I purchased from Dinsmore Tractor in Shawnee, Oklahoma. 250 miles from my place. Good people, who will take the time to answer all questions. The Kubota rebate really clinched the deal. People are asking questions all the time for comparison about price, so here is the deal I got. L3000Dt, LB400 FEL, Woods BB60 brush hog, Woods GB60 box blade and a 16' tandem axle trailer with new tires. All new equipment. $15,650. By buying out of state, I avoided sales tax. Will have to pay tax here in Texas on the trailer to tag it. I looked at several dealers for a couple of months. This is the best deal I found. A note of caution for people new to this. Most of the trailers I looked at were new, but had used tires on them. Also crawl under the trailer and look at the crossmembers. Make sure there is an adequate number! They all look good from the top. I saw some trailers that I would be worried about! I know that people will wonder why I bought 250 miles from where I live. The part of the country that I live in, things are just far apart. People will drive 70 miles here to eat out. I look at all the pictures you guys post about "taking out trees" and just marvel. I live on the High Plains, and it is just about against the law to kill a tree. Any tree! Thanks Tractorbynet for being here.
