That wood was cut and stacked March 2016 when they started the clearing. It's been sitting that long but is not cut or split. It is almost entirely apple.

I know I'm going to be setting a bunch of the smaller stuff aside because people like apple wood for smokers and aromatic campfires, but the bigger stuff is going to go heating the house.

Non-split it'll take even longer. Get it split, off the ground, and a top cover (wind/air can pass through), then forget about it.

It'll be fine after a year, but longer is better. Outdoor stoves tend to smolder, so you could probably use it now. I have a stove that is very moisture sensitive. My usage is up probably 25% or more with crummy wood. I've done it. It sucks.
