I’m considering trading my 2014 3033r for a new 2018 2032r or 2038r, many reasons but one being I just moved from Western NY that had 28 acres and an elevation of 800 feet to a 5 acre property that sits on a mountain here in Montana with a 5400 foot elevation.
I presently have a large back yard for mowing and a very long 1000 ft. dirt driveway that goes up a fairly steep driveway to the house. Lots of snow here this past year and gets pretty icy.
All I will be doing is some loader work, box blade work repairing long driveway in the spring, mowing and probably pushing lots of snow, hate the thought of attached snow blower because I think I’m to old to be attaching and Unattaching to put the loader back on. I’ll probably just get the manual 5 foot blade that attaches to the loader arms so I can pile the snow high.
I have the 6 foot hydraulic blade on my 3033r which works well but I think it may be to heavy for the 2000 series, the 3033 goes sideways sometimes pushing snow with this blade so I’m thinking a smaller blade may be better- thoughts?
This may not be appropriate here but I could sure use your opinions regarding should I get the 2038 that's turbocharged or will the 2032 which is about the same hp as my 3033 will be fine.
Should I consider the snow blower or am I correct that it’s a pain to switch to the loader?
