Since my FEL is a Westendorf TA55, I didn't think they would mind if I used their design for a Quick Attach available on their next larger size(s) FELs. (TA111 and above)
Multi use frame (forks, grubber, spade, etc) is next.
Great job! That looks like it would be a pretty "quick" quick attach. You'll definetly get your moneys worth out of that project.
Good luck with the multi -use frame! I've got my frame and forks done but the grubber and brush bucket have taken a back seat for a while. Figured HST cooling and rear 3 spool valve were a higher priority.
Would be interested to see what you were thinking on the grubber. I'm bouncing back and forth on rounded spade type or using my 3 point dirt scoop bucket as a starting point..Having never used one I'm not sure which would be best.
Thanks!
I built a bunch of attachments for my previous B7100 in the late 70s (which a bunch of touring Kubota engineers visited, snapped a bunch of pix, went home and came out with their versions) but I was never smart enough (or maybe too busy) to come up with a replacement for the 4 pin system, which was to say the least, a major pain to change implements .......
I vowed with this replacement B7100, never again to wrestle with 4 pins, because it was such an ordeal to change, that many times I found myself making-do with whatever happened to be mounted at the time. In some cases, pretty frightening maneuvers.
But when one is young, and in a hurry .....
I don't know why Westendorf does not have a quick system for their smallest loader. Perhaps the after-market is too limited for that size.
