I have a Kubota M6800 with one rear remote, which I have currently running a hydraulic top link. I just bought a grain drill that has a cylinder. I guess I can remove the hydraulic top link, reattach the manual link, and free up the remote for the drill hydraulic. But it would be nice to have both, so I can use the top link to adjust the drill plane (which is a 3 point hitch model)

Knowing nothing about hydraulics, what are my choices. I assume I can add another remote, but at what cost and effort? Can I do this myself? Or is there a splitter of some kind to allow two different controlled remotes?

I also have a remote up front running my bucket and grapple, if that matters.

What would you do with this situation?

I have triple remotes on my 2008 Mahindra 5525

Quad valve assemblies are available. My triple cluster is connected to the Power Beyond port on the FEL valve assembly. The return line is teed into the low pressure hydraulic line that goes to the sump.

Don't know your tractor, but many have a factory option to add a 2nd or even 3rd remote. Will look very neat.

Can add a non-factory extra spool, takes some cobbling and connecting in the right places, Will have a hyd lever and some hoses sticking out here or there.

Can add an electric selector. Adds a hyd block onto your one remote with 2 (or many more) sets of remotes, and an electric button on your hyd lever to switch between which one to use.

There is a mechanical selector as well - not as easy to use, need to slide a lever on the hyd ports to pick which remores are active.

You could pull the hoses on your grapple - making it not work - and hook up to the cylinder, making the cylinder work with the grapple control lever. Could do the same with the loader, really, take it off and use the remotes that frees up.

Some of the options. Probbly from most to least expensive.

You can add as many valves with many spools in series if using the PB from each valve.

Until you conclude which way to gain multiple tractor remotes, could you not adjust the height/angle of the grain drill with the top cylinder, then disconnect the hoses from the top cylinder and re-attach to the grain drill's cylinder? Totally untried but maybe worth an experimental trial? That excercise alone will help speed up your new build!:D

As of now I too have one remote valve, I have another to install but waiting for warmer weather, Thus having 2 remotes, i am thinking of adding a Hydralic Multiplier valve. But this is still in the makings .. . If you Google Hydralic Multplier valve you'll get sites. Heres one im looking at Fasse Hydraulic Valve Multipliers Just a thought. . .John
