Another shipping RANT, this time FedEx

I ordered 4 live traps last week from Amazon. All came from the same distributor in Knoxville, TN, about 90 miles from me. Ordered Sunday night, (standard free shipping 5-8 days), Amazon says "Will be delivered Tuesday" (Hey....who needs Prime ?). Well, didn't happen....whatever, wasn't in a big hurry anyway.......

Order got split into 3 + 1. Three came Wednesday via UPS. One came Thursday via FEDEX.

How do they make any money doing that ?

These are carrier issues how?

I ordered a dyson vacuum last Saturday. With the purchase I got four free tools. Today I received a shipping notice - guess what did not ship - the vacuum. What did ship - the four tools - all in separate packages. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.......................

Several years ago I ordered a set of clamp on forks for my 1720. They were shipped from Collierville Tennessee. They used Fed Ex. Order was placed on Sunday night. Shipped out Monday. Scanned in Knoxville Monday afternoon. Scanned in Charlotte Wednesday morning. Delivered to my home Wednesday afternoon. I guess the routing skipped over Hickory which was on the way to Charlotte?

To be honest with you I have never had an issue with either Fed Ex or UPS. Their tracking feature is much better than the US Postal service.

Didn't say they were. I would call them a strange way to ship packages if one is focused on minimizing costs

I haven't had any issues with any of them. The USPS has improved greatly over the last 20 years or so.

You couldn't tell it from where I was standing Tuesday..
7 windows & 1 girl working & a "stupidvisor" standing at the end of the counter "watching"..
The line was out the door.. I felt like I was at Walmart.. 42 lanes & 2 registers open..
& whats up w/ the folks that DONT have to get back in line???!!!!!
I CAME PREPARED!! ALL my stuff packaged, boxed & taped!!! W/ and address label affixed.. THESE yahoo's walk up to the widow, w/ a shirt & need a box + packing + tape & THEN are asked to step aside while they box their 2.99 shirt up.. THEN they are put BACK IN THE FRONT OF THE LINE.. INFRONT OF EVERYONE that's been standing there for 25 minutes!!! THEN have to get help filling out the address label.. usually have to get the Post Office girl to look it up.. FROSTS MY A**... Its no wonder WHY the place is bankrupt.!!!
That being said>> I couldn't live without them.. LOL
