I'm not sure if it was over at the Journal of Light Construction or Fine Home Building, but there was a study on those paints that proved them to add nothing to a buildings R Value.

The "Ultra Thin" was about as far as got on the reading. I thought it referred to one's wallet after purchase and my wallet already has that profile!

The way I read the thermotesting report, they took a wall with an R value of about 1 and increased it to R1.25. Fiberglass batts would have made it R13

Think of tinfoil. Reflects heat but has a poor R value. It's all in how you use it that determines if it is of any value to you.
As for the claim of "nanotechnology" I think that word is ripe for abuse to make any product sound hightech.
Heck, my favorite beverage has nano-bubbles.
