Today, I was working on my commercial property. covered in drywall dust, when a pleasant looking stranger popped in the door and said, "Are you Don? I'm BradK from TBN."
Brad lives in Palm City, Florida, down the road from me about 20 miles. We had corresponded a few times but had not gotten together. He's an appraiser and was doing some work in my neighborhood, and stopped in on the off-chance I would be there.
We took a little tour of the building -- me embarrassed for the mess from remodeling -- and he got to see my little TC18, which is here to help out with the work instead of over in Okeechobee where it normally "lives", my bargain dump trailer, which was loaded with old drywall, and such. He was kindly towards it all, even though he normally bleeds orange .
Really nice fellow, has a good head on his shoulders, hasn't had much time to post on TBN lately, but a good ambassador.
My son-in-law got a picture of us in front of Brad's nice F350, but we had no idea the bottlebrush tree was letting so much sun through -- the shadows have turned Brad into a mystery man. He'll hate that our shiny heads are all that show clearly...I'll have to go down and visit him so we can get a better picture.
