I hope you guys won't mind another post about filling the rear tires. After reading all the other posts, I decided to fill the tires on my EX3200, deciding to use WW fluid. I bought the fluid and Slime adapter kit at TSC. I tried to do the project last weekend, but could not get the adapter to go on the valve stem.

I had about decided to let a local tire shop do it, when responses to another post suggested using a pump and going to NAPA for the adapter. The NAPA dealer let me try the adpater before buying. It appeared to be the same kit as from TSC. When I looked at the TSC kit, I found the threads were messed up.

With an adapter that fit, I took the tractor to work, set things up, and got the job done in about 4 hours. It could be done quicker. On the first tire, I "burped" the tire after every 3 gallons. On the second tire, I put all the fluid in the drum and vented the tire about every 5 minutes.

I used a plastic 55 gallon drum and a submersible pump. I did not use the vent button on the adapter. To vent, I would unplug the pump and let the air pressure in the tire blow back through the hose. One other note, the on-line charts showed the tires should require 29 gallons of fluid. With the valve stem at the 12:00 position, it took about 31.5 gallons of fluid to get enough to cover the wheel. I let the excess drain out of the valve stem before airing the tires to pressure. Pictures are attached. They show the adpater connected, the process while running, and the pump used.

I want to thank the guys that posted and replied on this subject. It was a big help. If nothing else, it let me know I could do it myself. Thanks.

I have an adapter like that one that I got to fill the tires on my H. I, too, found that trying to use the button between fills took too long. I took it off the stem each time to let the air out.
