I believe i read somewhere on here, about a yr, ago. That it is poss., to put a 9-24 tire on a 8.3-24 whl.? YM1700 (grey).

If it is a 2wd tractor, I think you will be fine if you wish to do the slightly wider and slightly taller 9/9.5-24’s on your ym 1700. If it is the YM 1700D then you could run into issues on your ratio of front and rear tires rolling circumference. This is likely to be even more of an issue with worn front tires and new rears. This is a debated subject in my experience. And it is further compounded that in my experience with tractor tires, you often find the rolling circumference to vary on new tires of the same brand and same size.
Again if not the 4x4 tractor go for it. About the only issues would be the rear of the tractor sitting slightly higher and possibly a bit of power and speed loss. However, for the most part, we keep speed slow so this is not likely to be noticed. And these little yanmars put out so much for their size and hp, I doubt you would notice the power loss either.

It was, thank you winston.

It is a 2wd w/rp tires on it. It's a pain haveing to get off and keep covering up your ruts, not to hear from your better half. lol.
