Sadly, this woman didn't survive a tractor flipping over on her. Feel bad for the family.
I also heard of another farming accident that happened last weekend at work today. Apparently a young lad of about 12 or 13 got a hand caught in a baler ( I believe it to be a baler anyway) and it ripped off at least one finger. The others were black from being crushed, and the doctors were not sure if they would be able to save them or may possibly have to amputate some. At least he survived his accident though. Sorry, but I have no link on this one, I only heard about it by word of mouth.
Walhalla, SC (AP) -- An Oconee County woman has died after the tractor she was driving overturned on her as she was driving up an embankment.
Coroner Karl Addis said 52-year-old Eva Cooper Simmons of West Union died Sunday evening after she was pinned under the tractor.
Addis says bystanders were able to lift the tractor off of Simmons and she was flown to Oconee Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Addis said an autopsy was planned Monday.
