Another Tractor Use

Opening day of bow hunting and 15 minutes in to the hunt I shot this smaller buck in my woods where I keep the brush cleared with my tractor. It is not the biggest buck in town but with a bow you can not be picky when it comes to hunting!

Story:
After I shot the buck, I walked back to the house to let it set so I did not push it as they are not easy to track this time of the year. After an hour I told my wife I was going to take my 4 wheeler out and find the deer. She told me I was nuts and said why don't you use the tractor and put it in the bucket, DUHHHH!!!!! Gotta love the wife as she keeps me in line! I drove out with the tractor where I last saw the buck and there it was 200yds from where I shot it. The arrow caught both lungs so it was not going far.

i see
the first year i got my b7100 there where people out this way hunting with deere with cars. ok the deere was hunting for cars. OK the deere was hit by a care so i got it with the tractor strung it up on it and proceesed it

I've done the same thing except I put the forks on my bucket. Nice buck.

You are right on. A tractor is good for a plethora of work duties. That is a nice buck -- certainly will be better eating than one of those big old trophy bucks. The tractor is also great for hauling in black bears which can run several hundred pounds (which I have done).

I cut the deer up yesterday evening using the loader as my deer hanger !
My B7510 is an awesome portable deer hanging device.

Agreed, go Mathews! I love my Mathews SwitchBack! I have had it 2 years now and it is by far the best bow I have ever owned. I can get a 2 inch grouping at 40yds all day with this bow.

Can't beat'em...

I hunt with a Mathews LX and shoot 3D archery tournaments with the Ovation. I started to replace the LX with the Switchback when it came out, but couldn't justify it because the LX does everything I ask of it...
