Is this the price of a brand new unit or used? If it's used, have you tried to get the best new price possible and then compared that?
For just a tractor and a loader, it sounds like they like it a lot to me.

I would say there are better deals out there for a tractor of similar size/HP.

That's a good price for that particular tractor. Better than 15% off of list. For different tractors with the same capabilities things are of course different. Kubota doesn't offer a similar tractor.

There are regional price differences so people may save or pay upwards of $1,000 difference. Also back at the first of the year Kubota raised thier prices.

Is that price with any attatchments? What kind of tires? Are they loaded?

If it is just R-1's, tractor and bucket I think you could do a bit better.

Sounds like a decent price based on what I was quoted last year on the 3430 plus Kubota's new year increase others here have pegged around $1K.

A little extra food for thought....I bought the 3130 which was 1,500 less at that time. 3830 was another 1,000.00 from the 3430. Go for the 3430 if you intend to load it down or do allot of PTO work, and can swing it. My 3130 handles it's chores well in current configuration, but a little more HP wouldn't hurt with my setup, which at around 8K lbs. is at the top limits. IMO you won't see much difference between the three models on pushing and pulling though. My 3130 is real impressive in that regard, still suprises me in 2WD the way I'm ballasted. I sometimes use 4wd when bowling pine trees over, in the snow (BH off), or digging in virgin soil. Otherwise, I don't have much need for it with the BH out back. Good tractor for certain.
