Hello all,
I'm on 35 acres (used to be 60 acres,but sold off some wetter land) at the foothills of the Adirondacks by the Sacandaga lake. I had a NH 2120 for years while getting things built and landscaped ,but downsized to a 2220 (tc34d) so as not to tear up the yard as bad. It's got a Bradco 365 hoe and 240 tl loader with 68" bucket and it handles them well. I figure if I need something big, I'll rent it.
I just had 8-9 acres of red pine (row pines) clear cut while we had 2+ feet of frost in the ground , and I will be using a EA landscape rake and EA 60" grapple (on order) to clean up whats left. The trees are gone, the tops were all chipped into haulers. Just dead limbs and branches. The stumps will stay with the hardwoods that are left standing.
It's great to find you folks and I look forward to joining in.(although after lurking around this site for a few weeks I can see it might get expensive!!)
