Hi everyone,
I am in Australia and have been looking at getting a SCUT to replace an old DB 995 which is not very use friendly around our 10 acres. I have looked at Kubota BX2660, NH 1025 & JD 1026r. All with 4 in 1 FEL, 60" MMM & 4' slasher. Prices are AUD $25k, $24k & $35k respectively.
The new machine will do a bit of dirt and gravel work from time to time, slash about 6 acres every 2 months. The MMM is required for a camping area down on the river bank probably about an an acre.
My biggest question is why is the JD so much more? I have had a drive of the BX2660 and really liked the size and maneuverability. I have a good relationship with the NH and Kubota dealers but have mixed feelings on the JD dealer. Does anyone have feedback on a Yanmar ea2400?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions.
Cheers
Brad
