Does anyone use anti-vibration gloves? Is there a good brand?

I have tried them when I had carple (sp?) tunnel. I think mine were a little too big so it made it hard to hold on to the equipment which just made matters worse. The ones I had were just gloves with gel in the palm area. It dampened the vibes good enough I guess. I got mine from Woodcraft.

Hello Solo - try a product called "Sorbothane" - the distributor up here is a company called Ergotech. I saw a commercial where you could hit your hand with a hammer and the glove would absorb the impact. They also use it as flooring covering where people like production-line workers have to stand all day on a hard floor and it's supposed to cushin the impact of their feet on the floor all day.

Get mine off of the Snap On or Mac Tools truck. The ones I get are sold as impact gloves for use with impact hammers and impact wrench's.

Check out Bicycle gloves.

There are many that have padded palms for vibration and they come in fingerless varieties as well as full gloves.:D

i find the pads to be more cumbersome than helpfull.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I was at Lowes today and found a pair of "Mechanix's" brand gloves. I figured I would give them a try.

You can also try looking at motorcycle supply web sites.
There are several brands for the bikers to choose from.

I bought a pair to try for lawn mowing. (36" walk behind) Just a simple pair from a safety supply catalog. They work great. My hands used to get numb for 30 min after mowing. Now they feel fine. So for my situation they did everything I had hoped for.
