Any 448 BH Got\'chas to watch out for?

Just bought a 3520 with FEL and 448 BH. All the parts are in and the dealer told me it should be ready tomorrow afternoon. Aside from a couple of notes I saw about the rockshaft not getting the hoe high enough to pin are there any other things I need to question or look out for? I'm not going to take delivery until I get over to the dealership and get some instruction (ie: watch them do it there).
Thanks
Steve

WOW RSA is SO easy. It takes a little to get used to, but nothing like some other systems. The adjustment is really not a big deal, once you understand what is needed.

be sure and go slowly at first using it. I banged things around like crazy at first, but now it is smooth as silk.

I wish there was some actual useage advice in tha manual. My friend has a Cub Cadet hoe, and the manual goes a whole lot deeper onto actually using the hoe. I guess I need to scan it and make it available.

LOL- I've been borrowing my neighbors New Holland while awaiting my 4120, and got pretty good using the loader and landscape rake. I'm getting the 448 hoe with my machine and have every intention of taking it out to the "back forty" to learn before I even dream of getting it near anything of value. (like my house)

From there I'll dig out a few stumps, and then move on to the more delicate tasks.

I'd hate to look like a noob when I get close to the road. Especially since it's mainly "blue" in these parts. grin:

Re: Any 448 BH Got\'chas to watch out for?

I remember hearing 5 to 10 mintues for removal/install of the BH, and I thought to myself "yeah, maybe after you've done it a dozen times."

When my 448 was delivered, I wasn't there to get the dealer instruction. I followed the manual's guide for removal (unusual for me) and had it off without a snag in less than 10 minutes. You'll be amazed how slick it is.

Have fun.

Re: Any 448 BH Got\'chas to watch out for?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Just got a call from the dealer and the Power Beyond kit is installed. They are supposed to finish up this afternoon and call me to come over in the morning. Looking forward to digging a hole!

Went by the dealership last evening. That hoe is nice and the mounting/dismounting is very slick. They are supposed to deliver today. Hope to be digging before nightfall.
