I recently purchased an Agrimetal PTO Leaf Blower. It is a model BW 360. It has the discharge chute that is cable operated. By raising and lowering the chute, you can change the direction of flow from one side of the tractor to the other. Mine looks like this one: Agrimetal Blower - AG-INDUSTRIAL, INC. but it is not hydraulically operated. I prefer this style: http://agrimetal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/souffleur-front.jpg The problem is they don't offer one that will fit my model blower. In the lower position it deflects the flow downward to loosen stubborn leaves and sticks and when it is in the raised position it blows straight out for maximum distance. I want to fabricate one myself to fit my blower, but I need some approximate measurements to make it. I tried scaling it off the picture but it doesn't look right to me. If anyone has this style of deflector, I would greatly appreciate it if you could measure yours for me and supply me with the a few numbers to give me an idea what size to build mine. I need the distance how far the deflector offsets off the blower, and what the downward angle is. In the pictures I have it looks like its a 45 degree angle. But I'm not sure and that angle might be critical as to how efficient it performs. I tried contacting Agrimetal directly, but never heard back from them. I guess because I am building it myself, and not buying it from them, there is little incentive to help me. Any help on this would really be appreciated. Maybe someone can scale some numbers off the pic of the unit more accurately than I can.
