I am in the market for a SxS and the 590M is at the top of my list also.. Ive been doing a lot of research and the biggest issue with the JD's are the clutches. Coming from the factory they are not set up the best and give issues such as hard shifting/not going in/out of gear, not moving..
BUT there is a guy in TX jdclutchdoc that can tune the factory clutches so they dont give you any issues. the cost is below $300 or less. People that have used him swear that they they have a different vehicle after the tuning. its a shame that JD will keep replacing clutches on these units under warranty but wont set them up better from the beginning. I think most, if not all, SxS mfg use the same Team Clutch - but set up differently
The 2021 models of the XUV line now has a parking brake built into the transmission (like a car) - before they had a separate internal parking brake that was an issue at times.
The 2021 should be hitting the stores soon I would think.. I know a local dealer is offering discounts on the 2020's.
