Check you new card, I have had a few gaps before renewing but the card still as my initial start date.

The EAA/Ford plan saved me a 10% so I was disappointed when JD said their plan was a $300 discount.

Thanks Cal, I'll check it out.

Yeah, I was a little depressed finding out about the EAA discount with John Deere. And to boot, the dealer is saying that if I take the discount that it affects other John Deere incentives.

The Ford deal was great on my Excursion. It stickered for $46,470.00. Invoiced for $41,232.20. EAA price (same as "A" plan + 4%) was $40,724.53. And making the deal sweeter was the $3,500 in rebates which brought the price down to $37,224.53. That was 20% off sticker total counting rebates. 12.3% before rebates.

As of today (4/30/2007) the discount coupon is worth $250 or a set of telescoping lower draft links with enough left over for lunch at McDonald's.

Throw in a 0% loan and the Ford plan can really help you out. No making you pay for the 0% by taking a discount away.

I guess all that means is that the tractor companies do a better job of managing their inventories and don't have to resort to such extreme efforts.

Now go get a deal on a F250 or 350 to haul your tractor around.

I took advantage of the EAA/Ford purchase plan back in 2001. With this JD purchase, the Ford-EAA plan got my hopes up that there would be some big savings. And amazingly, the EAA-JD discount amount seems to change on a regular basis like the cost of a gallon of diesel. Today the discount was worth $250.

I bought a 2001 Ford Excursion PSD 4x4 with the EAA discount....

Sticker $47,015.00
Invoice $41,232.20
EAA cost $40,724.53 (The Ford A-Plan + 4%)
minus rebates $37,224.53
...plus a $750 entertainment system thrown in.

Wasn't a bad deal at all. Great truck now with 127K Miles, just broke in!

Just purchased x720 and got $600 off after we negotiated the price to where I was comfortable. I feel that was a pretty good amount considering the selling price. The discount does vary greatly depending on the equipment though.
