After driving several tractors - I guess I am sold on a hydrostactic trans. Trouble is - local dealer does not have a 2815HST in stock. Can get one in, but not to take advantage of the current incentives which expire on Dec 31.

So the choice is - wait for a 2815 HST with whatever incentives there are in January - or get a Kubota L2800 or 3400 HST. Have 0% for 36 months.

Any guess what the Mahindra program will be in 2008?

The way the market is right now I would think that it would stay the same or get better for the consumer.
As soon as we find out I will pass it along

I'm glad to see that your looking at buying the 2815 HST, I think you will love the HST, I'll never go back to gear, its faster and works great with either the FEL or using a box blade because you can change directions and your hands are free to control the attachments. Here's a couple picture of my tractor after playing in the snow today.
Also when you get your tractor have them add hooks to the FEL and fill your rear tires, my dealer did it for free and it will give you some extra weight and better traction.
I think Rick is correct about the market and Mahindra will have to keep their prices looking good to make sales.

Have your dealer call his Mahindra rep. If you make the purchase by 12/31 but take delivery a few days later, I don't see why they couldn't make this work. Meanwhile if on Jan 1 the programs stay the same or get better, you could opt for that. Basically lock in on the tractor and get the best of both worlds.

As of yesterday, the Jan programs are not out yet.

Hey Sergi,
I don't know if anyone has ever mentioned it before but I have used a box blade to clear snow before and I love it!! I see you have one on your tractor. Not many people suggest it and it's very usefull as long as there isn't too much snow. Gives a nice smooth base and clean edges. I've always borrowed one before but think it's time to get one.

I think the box blade is great for snow work, I can work in both directions and there is no need to change setup like a straight blade unit. And even with filled rear tires it gives added extra weight to the rear tires.
