My 2000 TC - 29 with only 350 hrs. on it is parked in the drive in basement and I noticed a thin film of hydraulic fluid under it the other day..no more than 1/4 cup...it has been sitting for 4 months now. The fluid was on the concrete floor right between the back of the engine and the front of the platform..I serviced it before I parked in for the winter..I am wondering if I overfilled the power steering fluid..that is all I can think of - it take the same 134 Hyd fluid as the rest of the tractor..I have not gotten under it yet ..since it has been too cold - to take it out and pressure wash the underneath to be able to see or try to see a leak.
I am just curious if any of you have any thoughts..never had a leak before. By the way - just before I parked it for the winter I had pressure washed the engine and then I backed it into the basement garage ..wondering out loud if maybe what I see on the concrete is what drained off and settled ? Beats me..I hope that's all it is. Anyone have any ideas. Tractor has been trouble free ..has always run and operated great with no leaks..ever. Thanks..
