I'm trying to find out what I can about a Toro groundsmaster I just bought. This is simular to the current 120 in style, but all the components are a bit beefier. The deck is shaft drive, the engine a 1 cylinder gas and it has wheel brakes. I'm thinking it's late 70's to early 80's vintage. The mower is in very good condition, considering the hour meter is almost to 4,000 hours. The deck however is totally shot. I have a deck from a newer mower and it's the exact same stamping. The new deck is labled "pro 52" and was a free floating deck. I don't know what the deck was off of, but it could have been the Groundsmaster 120. The gear box was set up for a belt instead of a shaft. Anybody know what model of tractor I have?
