Any John Deere #5 Sickle Mower Experts?

I recently acquired a #5 JD sickle mower, supposedly rebuilt. Can't complain, as the price was really good for around here. Unfortunately, I think there are some parts missing. The pitman arm to flywheel offset shaft is really loose, like 3/16" loose. Seems to me there ought to be some roller bearings or something in there. If any of ya'll know, please let me know, so I can begin my parts search,

We had the 5 but so darn many years ago ,but ther should be a bushing or something and you should be able to go to any deere dealer to find out.They are quite good at being able to still supply old parts:thumbsupave

How far away are you from Ky, we a #5 for parts that we would sell real cheap? Ken Sweet

Too bad New Mexico is so far from Kentucky! Guess I'll probably have to say some prayers before getting on the phone to my nearest JD dealer and hope I get a good parts man on the other end. I would just drive to the dealer, but it's 90 miles away,
