Any leads on Nubian goats

Hey everyone,
I'm located in SE Mass and we are looking for Nubian goats.
So far I've come up empty locally. I live in Rehoboth Ma and would appreciate any leads on goats for sale. Not for show just to live on my farm as dairy goats. Thanks

I breed Nubian goats, but I won't be selling any this year, as I'm expanding my herd. If you do a google search for Nubian goats, you'll find lots of farms selling them. Also, Yahoo has a whole bunch of dairy goat groups that have many farms selling Nubians. Good luck!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for letting me know you will not be selling any Nubians this year. I have done those searches, however, I was hoping to find someone from this group that may be alittle more local.

Sorry, John, I guess that didn't come out right, did it? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I didn't mean to sound like I have 'em, and you can't have any...I just meant to point out that I'm familiar with Nubians.

Are you looking for doelings or adult does ready to breed? How close are you to New York? I can check out if any of the other Nubian goat dairy farms will be selling any. Since you're not showing them, do you care if they're registered? I know some people who raise Nubians for 4H projects who sometimes sell them, but they wouldn't be registered. I'll check with them if you're interested.

My friends use to have a lot but they have sold all but two now. I do not know if they want to keep the last two but they are real friendly. I live on the other side of New York from you though but if you are interested I will ask them about it Saturday.
