Any MF 240 information or opinions?

Is it my imagination or is there just not very much real information on the Internet or on most tractor boards about MF 240 tractors? Very little if any information related to, years made, serial numbers, opinions, reviews, problems or issues. I realize there have been business issues in the past ten years with MF, but they were made before that.

Considering a MF 240 from the original owner, no attachments, very good tires front and back, used for mowing only, 2930 hours, looks good and seems to run good. Supposedly a '90. What are the pro's and con's? Price range?

A MF 240 was probably one of Massey's longest running models. It is the newer version of the 135 that they are talking so highly of, and rightfully so, in this forum. There are two different rear ends for these tractors, one can be indentified by the outboard drum type brakes, the other has inboard brakes and has a outboard, dog knot, final. Both have 152 Perkins engines. Parts are easy both OE and after market, and it is easy to work on for the inexperienced
