Tractor
NH TC 30
I have called 3 dealers and am told that the TC30 does not have a two piece wheel offered. No one can tell ne if the bolt pattern on the TC 30 is same or differnt than the TC 29 or Tc 33 that does offer two piece wheel.. Iam trying to get the rear wheels wider before I go up on my slanted pasture and bush hog.. Thanks in advance /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

All Class II NH compacts use the same rear axle shaft and lug bolts. This includes the TC30 and all configurations of the TC33. Therefore, any rear rim offered for one model would bolt up to the axle shaft on any other model. I believe all the fender clearances are the same, so the only consideration would be the loaded radius and drive ratios of the front/rear tire combo you end up with.

Rick B, Thanks for the info.. I don't want to change tire size just the rims.. If NH makes a split / two piece rim for the TC33 do you see any problems attaching to the TC 30.. Again thanks for your time... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

All of the wheel rims for the class 2 compacts including the TC30 are one piece. New Holland does not offer a two piece rim for these tractors.

I remember a post a while back where someone put dual wheels on their tractor, That may be a solution for you.

Does anyone make axle extensions? or wheel extensions for compacts? Of course this would probably turn into some kind of stress issue on the bearings.

Try www.Unverferth.com for wheel spacers or axle estensions. If they do not have the propper size, try www.performancewheel.com or other large custom tire and wheel shop. Most any machine shop can also make a pair for reasonable cost.

The main advantage of duals is better floatation in soft ground, and while they will also improve stability, duals will add much more strain on axles and bearings than a 3" or 4" wheel spacer on each side.

Liquid filling helps a lot also.

Good Luck, Rip
