any one GEO Cacheing?

I've never tried it but I have a friend who spends almost every weekend doing it with his wife and 2 kids. There all kinds of rules and procedures that you have to follow, take an item from the cache but leave one in it's place etc., and there are sites on the internet for information that I'm sure you are aware of. They seem to have a great time doing it. From what he tells me, it could be a lot of fun. Go for it and let us know what you think of it.

Another TBN member, whose user name is "thcri" and also goes by "murph" used to do it quite often. He even told me of a hidden cache near my location. You might send a PM to thcri and get some tips.

I have read about it. Sounds like fun and good exercise. I've been looking at a Magellan explorist 500LE for the past week or so. Prices have plumeted and I'm wondering what's the catch?

I have just started Geo Caching last month. Interesting finding some of the caches. Gives me something to do while we are holed up in a area for a while. I have a Delrome PN-20 that works good for this activity.

I did a lot of Geocaching, but have not done it for a while, I put out at least a dozen caches from Mass to Maine and have a few travel bugs around the world . It is just a game, no real rules to it, you should place an item in the box if you take an item, that is simply to keep it going, no real treasures in the boxes, it is mostly just kids stuff, the fun is the finding, and I get a kick out of what people write in your logbook when they do find it.
